Title:Dev/Ops /Java Engineer
Location:El Segundo, CA
Position Type: Contract 18m
Rate :DOE ( W2 only)
Requirements -
• Proficiency in Java and J2EE technologies.
• Excellent scripting skills with a strong grasp of automation process (Perl, Shell, Ruby Python)
• Experience analyzing and monitor performance bottlenecks and key metrics in order to optimize software and system performance
• Exceptional technical skills in this areas of Redhat/Centos administration and VMware and server deployment automation
• Strong experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus, too)
• Experience with open source tools for increased productivity, security, reliability and performance
• Experience in live production trouble-shooting and support operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities --
• Help on improving the daily operations. Analyze our current development infrastructure/operations and update and improve upon it.
• Daily operations like monitoring the production, system health, errors, reports etc.
• Get hands on our code deployment process. Investigate and setup new processes. Jetty/JBoss Application servers
• Contribute on some backend development, enhancements and bug fixes.
• Develop automation processes.
