POSITION SUMMARY
The eBusiness Suite Oracle Applications Developer will be responsible for all aspects of Production support including ticket closure and working with the users to solve their production issues, also responsible for designing and managing different areas related to the spectrum of work of Oracle. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and system architects, to understand requirements and implement solutions. The modules to be supported are: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivables (AR),Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets(FA), Payables (AP), Purchasing (PO),Order Management (OM),Inventory(INV), Warehouse Management (WMS) and Trade Management. This individual will be involved with all aspects of the Oracle Applications suite, proficient in writing stored procedures, Packages and functions using SQL & PL/SQL, customizing Reports, XML Publisher and writing Unix Shell scripts to deliver robust and scalable applications.

PRINCIPAL TASKS
1. Design & Development: Responsible for Oracle Development in an Oracle Applications environment in terms of design and development of Oracle based custom applications, interfaces, reports, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Custom.pll, Forms Personalization, PL/SQL packages/procedures-based programming for custom applications and data conversions. Also desired is experience with Oracle Workflow Builder and developing new workflow and/or modifying existing workflows in either an Oracle Application or pure Oracle Technology environment. You are also responsible for adhering to our company standards on any customizations. Develop technical design and documentation of Oracle Applications dependent data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, including system design, coding standards, and project-related documentation.
2. Systems Analysis: Primarily responsible for the technical side of Oracle eBusiness Application, coordination, and application design (Define, Design, Develop, Deploy) as well as application development/enhancement initiatives by analyzing the business requirements, providing a solution design, testing, and coordinating User Acceptance testing of the development activities. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Ability to design and implement integration components between enterprise systems. Design and provide hands-on development of cloud based and enterprise integrations, leveraging API frameworks. Translate business processes and requirements into technical integration requirements and designs
3. Reporting: Reporting support for system (Oracle Reports, Real Time Reporting) and custom requirements. Analyze issues related to Oracle reports including custom objects. Recommend/design changes to the development team and provide support to the team if required. Perform testing and helping UAT on any code changes within Oracle suite. Provide application data using SQL to support ad-hoc requests for application information. Assist system analysts, DBAs in promoting technical changes to production environment. Also responsible for any other special projects as assigned by Management.
4. Training: Training support for end users. Train users in the navigation and use of the Oracle applications, and other business applications. Provide documentation and screenshots to end users and walk them through existing and new functionality added to the system. Develop and maintain effective working relationships and cross train with team members.
5. Production Support: Research, SR, and root cause analysis for bugs and system issues. Create RFC (Request for Change) in the Helpdesk system and follow our regular norms. Please follow SLA’s based on the nature of the issues. Log Service requests with Oracle Support through Metalink and other third-party vendor support organizations for issues that are to be resolved by the vendor. Research solution to issues on Oracle Metalink (Oracle support system). Follow up with vendor service requests until resolution.
6. Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices, code quality, and adherence to coding standards. Identify and address performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure optimal application performance. Being able to adapt to new technologies and techniques.
7. Responsible for any other additional duties as assigned by Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
WORK EXPERIENCE: Eight (8) years’ experience in an Oracle E-Business Suite environment in a Solid Technical role on RICE Components with expertise in Design, development, executions, and production support. Experience working with SOA and B2B is preferred but not essential. Well versed with development best practices. Ability to grasp complex issues and pay attention to details. Proven flexibility and adaptability in effectively driving results in an environment of changing priorities.
Demonstrate comfort in working across the business and their respective business units maintaining positive relationships with professionals at all levels of the organization.
ACADEMIC/TRAINING: A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from an accredited college and Oracle IT Certifications.
SKILLS: Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), as well as Oracle, ERP (EBS R12), SQL, Toad, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, & other Oracle technologies. Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated, excellent customer service skills, and extremely organized and able to handle multiple projects at one time.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to stand, sit, move, and use fingers for extended periods of time. May require walking primarily on a level surface, reaching above shoulder heights and below the waist, as well as lifting up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is typical of an office environment where the air is controlled and kept at mild temperatures.
