The Opportunity:
IntePros Federal is seeking a talented Developer, to support our federal government customer, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); Office of Water ensures drinking water is safe, and restores and maintains oceans, watersheds, and their aquatic ecosystems to protect human health, support economic and recreational activities, and provide healthy habitat for fish, plants and wildlife. IntePros Federal supports that mission by providing high quality IT development and support to the agency.
Role & Responsibilities:
A successful candidate will be responsible for working with an Agile-centric team to delivery functionality on multiple applications utilizing Java, .NET and Oracle APEX. Team members provide insight, guidance, analysis and development expertise throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
This position is best suited for a hands-on learner who enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will work directly with the Project Manager, Technical Application Architect and Program Manager to meet the deliverables required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Support multiple java applications for around 1000 users.
- Provide support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases to transform requirements into working solutions. This includes involvement with users to define system scope and objectives, as well as contributing to design decisions.
- Work on new development and re-engineering efforts, including making system design decisions.
- Implement enhancements to the existing system in addition to coordinating with other developers working in parallel and performing QA/testing as needed.
- Perform development activities Java, .NET and Oracle Apex environments.
- Perform automated tasks utilizing.
- Provide support for testing all applications.
- Utilization of JIRA for incident and request tracking when applicable outside of CI/CD.
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust

**This position is REMOTE and must be able to work East Coast (EST) business hours of operation Monday - Friday.
Qualifications:
Required:
- BS. or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience working hands-on with the following:
- ORacle APEX
- Java Programming
- .NET Programming
- RHEL; RHEL 8
- Apache
- SQL Server
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, etc.
- Java Web Services/Spring Boot/Java EE.
- Web Development/UI Frameworks/ HTML/JavaScript.
- Experience in Agile development methodology.
- Experience implementing and configuring DevOps solutions.
- Experience in Struts, and Restful services.
- UNIX/LINUX shell scripting.
Desired:
- Expertise and experience in full scale cloud migration of unclassified/classified environments.
- Ability to transition operations to DevSecOps.
- Thorough understanding of cloud computing and leading technologies to support enterprise.
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience with Azure Services, including App Gateway, Key Vault, Application Insights.
- Experience with Automated Testing Frameworks.
- Experience with Solutions Architecture.
