Job Description
Family & Children's Place's Development Department has a full-time opening for a Development Assistant.
The Development Assistant is an integral part of a 6-person fundraising and marketing team reporting to the Senior Vice President of External Affairs. They are responsible for maintaining and increasing donor database (Little Green Light) functionality, ensuring appropriate donor stewardship, preparing accurate financial and fundraising reports using Microsoft Excel. They will also assist with program data collection and evaluation, and perform administrative tasks for School-Based Services program.
This critically important position pays a competitive wage of $18.00 - $20/hour or more depending on experience. A retention bonus of $300 paid in increments through the first year. Requirements
The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel, excellent organization skills, the ability to follow and create policies & procedures, and adherence to general business office practices. Accuracy is critically important in performance of these tasks.
Associate degree is preferred, plus one or more years of experience in donor services or a similar role. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience providing the required knowledge and skills may be substituted. The incumbent is required to work in the office at least three days/week, with work from home the other two days.
