Marketing Manager (New Position)
The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee seeks a creative, flexible, detail-oriented Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team.
Our successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, coordinate and collaborate effectively with teams, be adaptable, and maintain good humor while meeting tight deadlines.
This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Job responsibilities include:
- Manage the marketing budget to maximize impact and cost-effectiveness of marketing work product.
- Oversee and implement social media operations, including creating and managing content for various social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram.
- Report on effectiveness of said strategies and make recommendations for future campaigns based on analytics and data.
- Work collaboratively with the program and development teams on event promotion and fundraising strategies.
- Develop email newsletters (approximately 2 per week) that are consistent with Federation branding.
- Develop relevant KPIs for email success and regularly report on them to management.
- In partnership with the COO, collaborate with external publications to ensure best use of paid placement.
- Provide impeccable and timely customer service to both colleagues and external clients including answering questions and resolving problems as they arise.
- Assist the marketing team with a wide range of tasks and projects.
- Two direct reports: Senior Graphic Designer and the Webmaster.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years relevant marketing experience.
- Proven success creating content for a wide variety of marketing platforms, both print and digital.
- Expertise in online marketing tools and platforms (web, social media and email).
- Excellent proofreading skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, supervisory and customer service skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Familiarity with Jewish community or Jewish culture a plus.
$65,000 - $75,000
