Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician- Clinical Educator Position in Western Mass - Baystate Health

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group.  Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate as well as Baystate Children’s Hospital.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• Join our team of two psychologists and one developmental behavioral pediatrician in our state-of-the-art pediatric specialty outpatient center which is home to 15 pediatric specialty clinics. We serve a vibrant and diverse patient population with many families who are multilingual. 
• Provide interdisciplinary developmental-behavioral evaluations and care of young children with developmental and behavioral health needs including questions of autism, intellectual disabilities, genetic disorders, and other complex neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Collaboration with multiple divisions of Baystate Children’s Hospital, community resources, and schools.
• Combination of clinical care and resident, fellow and medical student teaching with faculty appointment at UMMS Chan- Baystate.
• Lead in the development of innovative approaches to teaching interns and residents and oversee the educational mission of the division. Research opportunities available and encouraged.
• Support division goals of improved access to care, quality of care, patient satisfaction, and support the fiduciary obligations of the division. Assist with strategic planning, program development and fostering philanthropy.
• Flexible FTE- we are happy to consider those with full time or part time interests.
• Qualifications: ABMS BE/BC Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
