Responsibilities
- Work with data engineers and architects to develop a cloud-native data pipeline.
- Utilize AWS services to build pipeline as directed.
- Write infrastructure as code for provisioning resources.
- Develop dashboards and metrics for monitoring.
- Write automated tests.
- Resolve technical issues found during QA testing.
- Write technical documentation.
- Actively participate as member of agile team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or commensurate experience
- Experience writing and maintaining infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Experience with the following AWS services:
- Step Functions
- Lambda
- Dynamo DB
- Aurora PostgreSQL
- Amazon ElastiCache for Redis
- S3
- EventBridge
- AWS Glue
- Amazon SQS
- Experience writing production-ready Python code
- Experience with cloud-native ETL (extract, transform, load) processes
- Competency writing automated tests
- Experience developing/working with Docker containers
- Experience with SQL and database systems
- Experience developing in an agile environment
- Experience with GitLab
- Experience with Apache Airflow
