- 5+ years of building Cloud Infrastructure with at least two years on Azure
- Experience with setup and deployment of infrastructure on Azure
- Experience with setup of key infrastructure cloud components such as VNets, AKS, Azure VPN Gateway, Azure Gateway/Load Balancing, Azure HDInsight's Kafka, Azure DNS, Azure Storage, and Azure Blob
- Experience with automating and deploying Infrastructure as a Code through tools, such as Terraform
- Experience with build and deploy of containers/dockers
- Experience with security and networking setup for both internal (Dev/QA) and external access
- Experience with supporting and resolving issues within the Cloud Infrastructure
- Hands on knowledge of CI/CD, Container Orchestration, Monitoring/Alerting, Security best practices, automated deployments, etc.
- Experience with one or more Public Clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Maintain knowledge of the dynamic changes within the DevOps landscape, and recommend infrastructure improvements
- A clear focus on optimizing costs of managing the infrastructure
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science
- Delivering the framework components for the Customer's cloud environment
- Ensuring that the infrastructure is highly scalable, reliable and monitored
- Building a relationship with Cloud providers to take advantage of their most appropriate technology offerings
- Collaborating with the Development Leads to ensure that the DevOps Team needs are met through the CI/CD framework, component monitoring, and stats, incident escalation, etc.
- Closely monitoring the security of the Production Environment, especially as it relates to sensitive Customer data and credentials
- Inculcating "infrastructure as a code” mentality in the DevOps Team overall
