We are on the hunt for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in the technology industry. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will become an integral part of our talented team, making a significant impact on our innovative projects that are shaping the future of technology.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and manage a secure, scalable, and robust infrastructure.
2. Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements.
3. Specifying, documenting, and developing new product features, and writing automating scripts.
4. Work closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes and strategies to meet our requirement.
5. Manage all aspects of the CI/CD process, and monitor metrics and develop ways to improve.
6. Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.
7. Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery.
8. Handle code deployments in all environments.
9. Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes.
10. Implement automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, monitoring.
11. Utilize a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end-to-end quality across functions.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, software engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles.
3. Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, VPCs.
4. Proven proficiency in Python scripting.
5. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, specifically Terraform.
6. Solid experience in managing containers and micro-services using Docker and Kubernetes.
7. Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.
8. Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.
9. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
10. Ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
12. A strong attention to detail, with a can-do attitude.
13. Self-starter who can move projects forward by filling in the gaps on agile teams, from leading a design session to doing solo research.
14. Strong team collaboration skills. Comfortable with pair programming, agile methodologies, and open communication.
15. Continual learner who stays updated on the latest trends in the technology industry.
