This is a DevOps position working in a cross-functional collaborative team environment. The project involves a WebRTC launch. The environment consists of applications developed with Java technologies deployed on a Linux platform.

Description

Responsibilities Will Include
- Provide engineering and operation support as Tier 3&4 engineer.
- Utilize your knowledge of Java and SIP to work with Development team to maintain code, support applications
- Document and Implement minor to large feature enhancements with development team.
Required Skills/Experience - Solid experience in Java development with expertise in application performance tweaking, troubleshooting and support
- Experience working in the telecommunications industry
- Very strong experience in SIP protocol and troubleshooting. (Experience in SIP routing and in depth knowledge).
- Strong operational experience in Linux environment with experience in configuration, installing Java applications, performance tweaking, kernel troubleshooting, etc.
- Solid experience with at least one scripting language any of the following: PHP, Bash, node.js, ruby SIP-P, Perl, Curl etc.
Experience with Any of the Following is a Plus - Experience in service provider VOIP networks (such as Telecommunication, MSOs etc.)
- IMS
- Operational experience in Mobicent/JBOSS (configuration/performance tweaking)
- Server administration (iron and/or cloud)
- Any JSR289 or JSR116 and Java language
- Experience in STUN/TURN/ICE/MGW
- Familiarity with WebRTC protocols
