DevSecOps Job Description: Roles & Responsibilities

DevSecOps Senior Engineer / Lead
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand tool chains, build and deployment environment
Co-work with cross functional team, deliver and support required tool chain
Evaluation and automation of build process and implementation of appropriate tools for build and release activities
Understanding the build flow, debugging the build failures, and supporting the development releases on time
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Participate and Enable team members to Participate Agile Ceremonies to achieve business goals in timely manner

SKILL SET

[Must] Very good understanding and Hands on in setting up CI/ CD workflows and DevOps ecosystems (Jenkins/ GitHub/ Gerrit etc)
[Must] Having hands on experience on Containerization, Docker Files and micro services architecture-based application design.
[Must] Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate, mentor and build synergy within the team
[Must] Very good working knowledge of the different tool chains available and the ecosystems
[MUST} Very good knowledge of source code management- Branching and merge strategies
[Plus] Expertise in Shell scripting/ Python/ Ruby /bash
[Plus] Experience in Agile ways of working
