Position Overview:
Edgesource is actively hiring for an Executive Administrator in support of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Stakeholder Engagement Division (SED). This role requires all job duties to be performed full-time / onsite at the client facility in Arlington, VA. Additionally, all candidates MUST be US citizens who are willing to undergo a background investigation and maintain a US government security clearance.
Job Duties:
- Dictate meeting minutes, meeting coordination, note-taking, briefings, mange schedules/calendars, etc., and other duties as necessary.
- Monitor all office administrative functions and transactions.
- Work with all level of staff to assess their needs in order provide timely and accurate information or assistance.
- Adhere to deadlines and prioritizing tasks for completion.
- Interpret guidelines for specific cases or problems for administrative functions.
- Ensure administrative responsibilities are sound, appropriate, and adhere to policy.
- Develop recommendations for management to address issue or shortfalls.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance in the areas of program effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assisting with preparation of a variety of reports utilizing various databases and automated systems.
- Analyzing operational trends to collect data for review by top level managers.
- Reviewing for use of proper grammar and/or formation for a variety of memorandums and/or reports utilizing various databases and automated systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen willing to undergo a background investigation to obtain DHS Suitability.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
- 5+ years of related experience in support of the federal government as either an employee, civilian, or contractor.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Successful track record of completing tasks in group settings as well as individually.
Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):
- Current DHS suitability or an active government security clearance
- Experience working in support of the DHS and/or federal government
- Experience using SharePoint
