The Panama City Beach VA Clinic is seeking a highly experienced and independent Diagnostic Radiology Technician to join our dedicated healthcare team. Position Highlights:

1. Location: Panama City Beach VA Clinic (Panama City, FL)
2. Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 am 4:30 pm
3. Salary Range: $41,670 - $74,312 per year
4. No nights or weekends!!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform general diagnostic radiologic exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
2. Operate radiographic equipment independently and accurately produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
3. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and efficient radiology services.
4. Maintain proper documentation and patient records in accordance with VA guidelines.
5. Perform operator-level quality assurance tests and occasional troubleshooting activities on imaging equipment as required.

Qualifications:

1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
2. Certification in General Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
3. Completion of a full-time training course of at least 24 months in duration (or the equivalent) in a post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program.
4. Preferred Experience: At least 3 years of experience working as an X-ray technologist; Experience working independently in a radiology department.
