Job Summary:
JOB SUMMARY
Performs ultrasound procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. Maternal Fetal Medicine ultrasound preferred.

Shift position: 2 days a week - 8am - 430pm
Detailed Anatomy experience/high risk OB preferred.
Must be available 3-4 days a week for the first 6 months for training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective imaging.
• Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
• Provides appropriate radiation protection to patient, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
• May be designated as an interim shift lead in the absence of the Radiology Technologist Team Lead.
• Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
