Job Summary:
JOB SUMMARY
Performs ultrasound procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost-effective imaging. Maternal Fetal Medicine and high-risk OB scanning experience preferred.

• Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
• Provides appropriate radiation protection to patient, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
• May be designated as an interim shift lead in the absence of the Radiology Technologist Team Lead.
• Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
