The Dialysis Technician is responsible for providing patient care to dialysis patients according to established principles and practices. The Dialysis Technician should be knowledgeable in using the equipment and have an understanding of the principles involved. Dialysis Technician utilizes cognitive and technical skills in performing duties and provides safe and quality treatments to patients.

Certifications/License

• Certification Required for Hemodialysis Technician (BONENT, NNCC, NNCO) by April 2010
• BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
