DICOM/PACS Specialist at TEKsystems

Candidates must be comfortable with traveling on site to test /validate workflows on various medical imaging modalities

Overview:

Our client is seeking an Augmented Staff member to support the implementation and integration of DICOM modalities into EPIC, Visage PACS, and the Hyland VNA. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring seamless DICOM workflows across multiple sites, collaborating closely with IT staff, operations, and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Test and validate DICOM workflows on various medical imaging modalities.
• Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute comprehensive DICOM workflow testing.
• Coordinate with operational teams and vendors to schedule and facilitate testing processes.
• Prepare and deliver detailed DICOM testing workflow reports to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Flexibility in working hours to work around operational needs and schedules.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience with DICOM, PACS, and/or VNA systems.
• Vendor Knowledge: Familiarity with various modality vendors and their systems.
• Clinical Environment: Experience working in a hospital or clinical department, preferably within Radiology.
• Customer Service: Strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
