Diesel Maintenance Technician at NC machinery

About the Position:

NC Power Systems are seeking an dedicated Diesel technicians who are responsible for maintaining our Customer Value Agreement (CVAs).

Essential Duties:

• Perform Annual Preventative Maintenance (change engine oil, filters, and perform a 60 point inspection)
• Semiannual & Quarterly 60 point inspections
• Load Banking
• Generator Confidence Testing
• Quote any deficiencies from services performed
• Order Parts using CAT parts ordering system (SIS)
• Effectively communicate with the office and with customers
• Complete paperwork, service reports and input of hours timely and accurately

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• Experience with Diesel Technology which includes: 
  • Repair and rebuilds 
  • Diagnostic and performance abilities
  • Equipment calibration
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools
• Degree in Diesel Technology is preferred
• CAT Diesel Engine experience is not required but is a bonus
