Additional Information

We are hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic in Kansas City, MO. This job is offering up to $35.00 per hour depending on experience.

Your responsibilities as a Diesel Technician will include, but are not limited to:

• Handle organization and tracking of PO's
• Organize the shop workload for the shop technicians
• Be able to order parts for the shop
• Work well with the Shop Service Manager on leadership tasks
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment
• Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks & trailers
• Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Own necessary essential tools
• Minimum 10 years experience required
• Must have Class A License
• Must have 609 certification (MVAC), SAE and welding experience
