About the Job
Anderson Dairy Inc is a long standing company in the Las Vegas Community. We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our Anderson family! You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial fleet trucks, tractors and refrigerated trailers and dry trailers.
Responsibilities:
- Major & minor repairs on Thermo King and Carrier transport refrigeration units.
- Preventative maintenance and quality repairs on Diesel trucks, trailers & reefers and tankers.
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components.
- General truck & trailer repairs including but not limited to differential, brakes, suspension, steering, tire replacement, lights, hoses, belts, batteries and electrical.
- Complete all paperwork accurately including repair information on work order.
Qualifications:
- 3 year experience.
- Refrigeration experience a plus.
- Must have own tools and reliable transportation.
- Must be a team player and work well with other Mechanics.
- Knowledge of shop equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented person needed with problem solving attitude.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and rotating on call shifts.
- Able to work in uncontrolled outside environment.
