Diesel Mechanic - Recycling - Base Salary to 62k/year - Hemingway, SC

• Our client, a Metal Recycling Company is seeking an experienced and organized diesel technician/mechanic for their fully operational truck and heavy equipment shop in both Hemingway and Dillon, SC.
• In this role, the Diesel Mechanic will have knowledge of heavy equipment and have the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on trucks and equipment. This is a Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm position.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of heavy equipment and the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on truck and equipment
• Responsibilities will include completing all fleet service and maintenance
• Small welding at times

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Mechanic experience
• Experience working with heavy equipment and heavy trucks

Compensation:

• Base salary to 62k/year
