Position Overview:
As an Advanced Diesel Mechanic specializing in Detroit Engines (D15 & D16), you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring our fleet runs smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Detroit D15 and D16 engines.
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled mechanics to solve complex issues.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior mechanics.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working with Detroit Engines, specifically D15 and D16.
- Advanced knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.
