Diesel Shop Manager - Sanford FL - VITUS Search Group

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Shop Manager for our team in Northern Florida. 

We would love someone with at least 2-3 years of Shop Management but would also consider a talented candidate with an exceptional Sr Diesel Mechanic ready to step into a management role 

Ideal salary - $105K 

Waste or Recycling background would be a huge plus 
 
 This individual will be responsible for the complete operations of the Service Department.

Responsibilities include:

· Direct and coordinate activities concerned with repair and maintenance of diesel engine vehicles, and operation and maintenance of truck service facilities.

· Work closely with the Fixed Operations Manager to grow the department and make necessary decisions to maintain profitability.

· Develop, monitor and report on performance metrics including revenue, profitability and efficiency.

· Build and grow customer-base and relationships.

· Respond to customer concerns.

· Plan and prepare work schedules and assign employees to specific duties.

· Communicate policies, procedures and company/department goals to employees.
