Overview
Diesel Technician - Up to $30/hr - Day Shift Available - No Travel - Full benefitsWe are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC.
We are looking for someone who enjoys diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines to identify faults and malfunctions.
Repair or replace damaged or worn-out parts.
Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines.
Test and tune diesel engines to ensure they are running at optimal levels.
Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment, such as X, Y, Z, to identify problems.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work performed.
Communicate with customers to explain repair procedures
Ideal Qualifications
Completion of a vocational or technical school program in diesel engine repair or relevant military service
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Shifts
8:00 AM-5:00 PM
1:00 PM-10:00 PM ($1/hour shift differential)
Work is done in shop with minimal travel (less than 10%, no overnights)
Pay
Up to $30/hr
