Experienced and Skilled Diesel Technician to become a Senior Diesel Technician

CXI Trucking Inc., located at 2057 George St in Melrose Park, is seeking a Senior Diesel Technician who's ready to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repair work on diesel vehicles, including engine, transmission, steering, and brake systems.
• Troubleshoot and conduct failure analysis using precision tools such as micrometers, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Oversee and manage the daily workload of other mechanics, serving as a lead within the shop.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, EPA, ICC, and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and repair times.
• Conduct safety checks, preventive maintenance, and assist with service calls for breakdowns.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• ASE Diesel Certification (preferred).
• Valid CDL "A" license (preferred).
• Advanced understanding of diesel engine components and diagnostic tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Attention to detail and proficiency with repair tools.
• Leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
