Dietary Aid - Gold Crest Care Center

Gold Crest Care Center is actively seeking Dietary Aides to work in our Skilled Nursing Facility located in The Bronx, NY. Candidates need to have reliable transportation, possess a positive and caring attitude and be able to follow directions. Kitchen experience is a plus!

Primary responsibilities:

·        Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times

·        Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures

·        Delivering of trays and carts to resident floors

·        Cleaning of dining rooms

·        Working on the tray line

·        Working in the dish room and pot sink

·        Sweeping and mopping

Disposal of trash and recyclables

Minimal stadning for 5-7 hours and minimal weight lifting 35-50lbs

·        Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state and federal specified rules and regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

·        Must be able to communicate and understand simple directions in English

·        Must be able to read meal tickets and menus
