Position Summary: A Dietary Aide assists in the preparation and service of food and beverage for patients, employees, and special events as instructed by the Dietary Manager. 

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Use proper food handling, safety, and sanitation techniques
• Complete tasks timely in accordance with meal schedule
• Prepare trays following residents’ diet order and requests
• Set up and deliver the food carts to the appropriate resident unit
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Properly receive, label, and store food & supplies
• Report concerns of residents and kitchen equipment as needed
• Act as back up for other team aides and cooks
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager

Requirements:

• Must be familiar with kitchen and cooking processes
• Ability to read and follow recipes is required
• Experience in a profession kitchen setting is a plus

• Day shift - 6:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Evening shift - 1:00 pm to 7:30 pm
