Dietary Aide:

Great Opportunity!! Bethany Gardens Skilled Nursing Facility, Rome N.Y. is currently seeking Dietary Aides. Full-time & part time positions available. Schedule may include rotating of weekends, evening shifts or Legal Holiday’s. This is an opportunity to work in a great environment where you can make enhance the quality of life on a daily basis of our wonderful residents! $500 sign on bonus.

• Must ba able to work days and Evenings
• We are willing to train candidates who are eager & motivated to learn.
• Salary & benefits are based upon experience.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred

Position includes but not limited to the following duties:

• Working on Tray-Line
• Preparing of foods for meals & other various events
• Preparing snacks & nourishments for residents according to diet
• Washing of Dishes, pots & pans
• Sweeping & Mopping of floors
• Properly rotating Stock Room items
• Assisting with deliveries as needed
• Ensuring fridge & freezer is appropriately stocked
• Disposing of trash within Facility Guidelines
• Ensure a clean & orderly environment

Requirements:

• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred but not a must
• Good communication skills
• Being alert & able to identify issues that may arise
• Appropriate Dress
• Establish & maintain a high level for customer-service
