Dietary Aide Responsibilities
· Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of meals, beverages or snacks
. Delivering of trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms
. Assembling resident meal trays. Working in the diesh room and pot sink
. Sweeping and mopping. Disposal of trash and recyclables
. Follow proper cleaning techniques of all kitchen equipment and work areas
· Perform other job-related duties as they become required
Dietary Aide Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions and complete tasks.
- Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, and other personnel and the public.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
