Dietary Server (Weekends Only) - Lutheran Home

The Lutheran Home has a weekend only position for a Dietary Server to work in our health center community. This is a key role working on our rehab-to-home unit portioning and serving meals for our residents and promoting a positive team-oriented environment.  Come join us in our mission of service and dignity.
 

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting residents and families with places order for meals.
• Ensuring all work areas are appropriately stocked, clean and staffed. 
• Ensuring orders and diets are correct and served in an attractive manner.
• Working with the cook to ensure quality food production for regular and modified diets.
• Ensuring that foods are stored at proper temperatures and according to sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Performing daily assigned cleaning duties including bussing of tables.
• Acting responsibly to avoid food waste.
• Performing necessary tasks to meet the needs of the residents specifically to their diet and food preferences.
• Presenting a positive, professional image interacting with residents, families and staff.

In this Part-time weekend position, you will typically work from 5:00am - 1:30pm.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read and write
