Position: Dietary Supervisor

Salary: $25-$27 per hour

Shift: 11am- 7pm

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director to uphold strict Department of Health regulations, guaranteeing the safety and satisfaction of our residents.
• Take the reins in menu preparation and staff scheduling to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide guidance and oversight to our dining services personnel, ensuring adherence to departmental protocols for prompt and top-notch food service.
• Direct Dietary Aides in meal service and cleanup, ensuring that all standards are not just met, but exceeded.
• Diligently complete all necessary forms and reports in accordance with our established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Previous experience as a Dietary Supervisor in a nursing home setting.
• Skilled in dietary management, familiar with food safety, and capable of assisting the food service manager with labor control and assigning duties.
• Hands-on supervisory experience, knowledgeable about food restrictions, therapeutic diets, and basic kitchen operations and food safety standards.
• Serv-Safe certification is a plus.
