Dietetic Technician - North Westchester Restorative Therapy and Nsg

North Westchester Restorative Therapy and Nursing have an exceptional opportunity for a Dietetic Technician. In this position, you will:

May include all or part of the following but not limited to:

• Coordinate Dietary Service with other departments as necessary.
• Meet with Dietary Staff as needed to assist with identifying and correcting problem areas and/ or improvement of service.
• Assist in planning, developing, organizing and implementing department goals and objectives.
• Conducts in-services as requested.
• Inputs new admissions, diet orders and menu changes in computer menu software.
• Works with Food Service Director to plan menus for residents according to nutritional requirements, special diets, and food preferences.
• Visits residents and families to update food preferences, address concerns as needed.
• Supervise food service staff, monitor meal service daily.
• Analyzes, evaluates and recommends solutions with interdepartmental problems when necessary.

 Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university, with a major in dietetics or nutrition.

Salary: $25 per hour
