About the Job
Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian to join our UCHealth Southern Region Dietitian Team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Southern Region includes Memorial Hospital Central, Memorial Hospital North, and Grandview Hospital which is ~600 beds. Memorial Hospital Central has a Level 1 Trauma designation along with other national certifications including stroke, cardiovascular and orthopedic care.

The successful candidate will:
- Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units.
- Be self-motivated and possess skills to improve and sustain both patient and employee satisfaction.
- Execute the Nutrition Care Process (assessment, nutrition diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation) in general clinical practice.
- Be accountable for the provision of safe and reliable care and services and completion of documentation in accordance with individual and statutory scope, regulatory standards and facility policies, protocols and practice guidelines, including clinical privileges.
- Provide nutrition education to patients regarding their acute and/or chronic diseases.
- Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds, chart audits and test trays.

- Registered Dietitian with experience in a healthcare setting, prior experience with nutrition support, including enteral and parenteral nutrition a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent time management skills, be a self-starter and a team player
- Ability to effectively round with employees, physicians, and nursing staff on a regular basis to ensure nutrition needs are being met.

Qualifications & Requirements:Basic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
