Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitians to support the Inpatient Medical Nutrition Department at Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown, PA.  This 145-bed community hospital is located 45 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. Uniontown Hospital is a compassionate, dedicated community hospital providing a full range of medical care to residents of Fayette County and the surrounding areas for more than a century.

The successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;
• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;
• educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses; and
• precept dietetic interns.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
