Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Subject Matter Expert to join our Analytics & Insights team. This senior analyst role requires a deep understanding of GA4 reporting, proficiency in working with GA4 APIs, and the ability to analyze data using SQL in BigQuery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web analytics, proven experience supporting business stakeholders, and a keen eye for data quality and testing during tagging releases.
_Key Responsibilities_
GA4 Reporting & Insights:
+ Develop, maintain, and optimize GA4 reporting dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with business teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with business objectives.
API Integration & Data Management:
+ Utilize GA4 APIs to automate reporting processes and extract data for deeper analysis.
+ Ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms by regularly auditing and validating GA4 data.
SQL & BigQuery:
+ Write and optimize SQL queries to analyze GA4 data stored in BigQuery, providing comprehensive insights into user behavior and website performance.
+ Create and maintain data pipelines to facilitate efficient data processing and reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
+ Act as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders, providing analytics support and consulting on best practices for leveraging GA4 data.
+ Translate technical findings into understandable insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Tagging & Data Quality Assurance:
+ Support the testing and validation of new tagging implementations to ensure accurate data capture and reporting.
+ Develop and maintain documentation for tagging standards and GA4 best practices.
Training & Knowledge Sharing:
+ Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members and stakeholders on GA4 capabilities and reporting functionalities.
+ Stay updated on the latest GA4 features and industry trends, sharing insights with the team to enhance overall analytics capabilities.
_Qualifications_
+ Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
+ 5 years of experience in web analytics, with a strong focus on Google Analytics (GA4 preferred).
+ Proficiency in SQL and experience with BigQuery for data analysis.
+ Demonstrated experience working with GA4 APIs and automating reporting processes.
+ Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to derive insights from complex data sets.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Familiarity with tagging management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager) is a plus.
+ Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.
