Job DescriptionLink Solutions is seeking a Digital Communications Support Task Lead to join our team in Washington, DC to support The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Communications and Web Management.
*This is a hybrid position (required to be on-site several days a week; the remaining days are telework)
*This opportunity is contingent upon successful award and contract negotiation which is currently in process.
The Digital Communications Support Lead will be responsible for managing and executing strategic communications plans across digital channels. They will work with the marketing, communications, and sales teams to create and maintain effective online campaigns for the FAA. The lead will work closely with key stakeholders across a major academic institution to maintain the enterprise-level website. The Digital Communications Support Task Lead will report to the Project Manager (PM) and be responsible for assisting with team goals, schedules, budgeting, and project management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and tactical support for news content development for the FAA.gov public website, My.FAA.gov, and Employees.FAA.gov websites.
- Develop communication plans and related documents, such as drafting news articles and other communications, in support of major outreach efforts and campaigns.
- Develop, maintain, and execute a social media strategic plan and program to promote FAA public affairs and employee initiatives (social media activities, podcast episodes, blogs, social networking, social bookmarking, and website submissions).
- Analyze social outreach using metric applications to cite in reports on the communications impressions and reach.
- Develop, manage, and execute integrated, multi-channel communication campaigns to generate awareness, engagement, and goodwill with target audiences in public and employee populations (established channels such as YouTube, GovDelivery, LinkedIn, and Facebook).
- Prepare and deliver pre-campaign briefings, provide the necessary information to the copywriting team, and lead the creative process to ensure each campaign is a success.
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting of each campaign to FAA stakeholders, including interpretation, commentary, and recommendations.
- Maintain content for FAA.gov, My.FAA.gov, and other online forums (i.e., Medium blog).
- Support the management of MyFAA sites (including employees.faa.gov) via the Adobe CQ5 content management tool and ColdFusion including updating web pages and responding to user inquiries.
- Build components in Adobe CQ5 and AEM.

Qualifications- US Citizen
- Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field).
- Three (3) years of experience relevant to a team lead role.
- Understanding of Drupal framework/software
Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Preferred:
- Experience working with Office 360, JIRA, Adobe's Site Catalyst/Omniture, HTML/CSS, Office 365, and Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of the web development/web publishing process.
- Excellent communications skill (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
