On Deck Concepts, the team behind Bedford Ice House, District 21 Sports Kitchen, BoomerJack's Grill, and Sidecar Social, is looking for an energetic, talented, and professional Digital Content Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Content Specialist combines creative content creation and social media experience to help develop and implement and grow our concepts’ digital marketing efforts.

 Role Responsibilities

• Content Creation
  • Create photo and video content for social media and in-store marketing screens including videos, reels, infographics, GIFs, and other visual assets.
  • Develop and execute the social media calendar while assisting with strategy development for growing existing social communities – Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
  • Engage with major social networking sites including Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok while staying informed of platform updates and trends.
  • Follow current and new social media trends and algorithm changes and adjust social posting strategies as needed for best brand visibility.
  • Use visuals and written language accurately and effectively.
• Digital Tools Management
  • Leverage online listing tools keep restaurant information accurate across search platforms.
  • Utilize social media tools such as Hootsuite for scheduling content and monthly reporting.
  • Be familiar with and able to learn the digital tools utilized by the marketing team, including but not limited to Yext, Canva, Hootsuite, Review Tracker, Google My Business, Yelp, WordPress, Meta Ad Builder, Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere Pro/CapCut, and Control Play.
• Community Management
  • Monitor social media networks and respond to guest comments and direct messages.
  • Engage on outside community social media groups on behalf of the On Deck brands.
  • Escalate any negative posts or comments about the brands as needed.
• Other ongoing responsibilities as needed that support the Digital Content Specialist’s ongoing development and growth within the organization and the marketing team.

 Required Skilled and Abilities

• Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal.
• Proficient in social media content creation within the platforms, in Canva, and through additional video editing tools. Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is a plus.
• Organized, flexible and with an extreme attention to details.
• Self-starter with the ability to multitask.
• Good time management skills.
• Must be a logical thinker, tactful, and resourceful in dealing with vendors, restaurant managers, support center team members, and the online community.
• Able to work non-traditional business hours (evenings, weekends) as needed to capture content.

 Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Advertising, or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years marketing or social media experience.
• Multi-unit restaurant experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation & live in the DFW market.
