Responsibilities:Draper is seeking a highly-motivated summer student for our Digital Engineering Software group. The ideal student will work on cutting-edge efforts for US Government and commercial customers as well as internal projects. Tasks will include application development and testing on Android, Windows, and XR devices, working closely with our design team to build out UIs, and integration of data onto multiple platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to internal and external projects.
The ideal candidate is an assertive self-starter, excited to learn, and works well with a team.
Qualifications:Required Qualifications:
- U.S Citizen
- B.S. (in progress) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or similar
- Creative individual, team player, outgoing, self-starter
- Active programming skills: Java, C#, Python
- Frameworks: Android, .NET
- Basic understanding of networking and network protocols
- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
- Good written and spoken communication skills
Additional Qualifications:
- Languages: Kotlin, C++
- Frameworks: Unity, Unreal
- Additional Operating Systems: Android
- Knowledgeable in network security
- Simulations, Digital Twins
