The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. In this role, you will…
- Set up and operate an ABG Digicon Omega label press per SOPs, work instructions, and control riders.
- Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
- Troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up. Perform testing as required and understands what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
- Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely fashion through attributing and effectively communicating with downstream operators).
- Perform clean-up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
- Perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meet expectations for setting up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.
- Preferably +2 years of digital press experience or other technical skills operating machinery.
- Experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.
- Flexibility to work any shift and Overtime. Work in a fast-paced environment with ability to deal with change.
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read a ruler to 1/64"
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods of time, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
