We seek an experienced digital marketing communications professional with proven experience in email marketing, customer segmentation, and print and digital advertising. This is a mid-level position that reports to the Director of Marketing.
Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic Lead Generation Specialist with proven experience in email marketing, customer segmentation, and industry and digital advertising. This is a primary role for a proficient email marketer in a growing marketing team that services a sales-focused organization operating in the industrial marketplace. In this role, you will manage and create all aspects of direct marketing to our customer base via email campaigns from concept to completion. You will research and target prospect lists, generate new leads, and nurture relationships with the right messaging at the right time. You'll be the interface to our vendor that provides pay-per-click services and be responsible for advertising through industry publications, online directories, and websites. You will also analyze data and develop strategies to improve future lead-generation efforts. You must be able to work as part of a remote team and work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. You will also have the opportunity to work across all of WorldWide Electric's brands and expand your skills across marketing disciplines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and manage all aspects of email marketing campaigns, including managing email schedules, building emails, creating graphics, writing messaging, defining and managing segmentation, selecting recipients, sending, and reporting.
- Research and identify potential leads through various channels, including online research, website visits, PPC, events, and tools like ZoomInfo.
- Nurture and qualify leads through email campaigns and other communication methods.
- Manage customer data import/exports from our ERP system to our email lists and ensure correct segmentation.
- Manage channel advertising through industry publications, directories, and websites, ensuring deliverables and reporting on campaign effectiveness.
- Be Responsible for our PPC strategies, spending, and goals, as well as managing and directing our vendor specialized in PPC services.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective campaigns and lead-generation strategies.
- Analyze and report on lead generation metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for lead generation.
- Attend occasional industry events and customer visits to understand the motivations of our customer base.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in email marketing and a proven track record of successful lead generation and sales.
- Proficiency in using lead generation tools and Email marketing software, such as Campaign Monitor, Constant Contact, Hubspot, ZoomInfo, etc.
- Ability to write messaging and produce graphics (Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator) as needed to create effective email campaigns that are on brand and capture the attention of customers.
- Strong attention to detail when managing customer data in Excel and performing data imports and exports.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, marketing communications or a related field.
- Experience in developing and implementing lead generation strategies.
- Knowledge of digital marketing platforms.
- Proficient with Microsoft suite of products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work creatively within existing brand guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience working for a B2B industrial products company.
- Experience working in an Agile marketing environment is a plus.
- Action-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and adapt.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Willingness to "roll up sleeves" daily to be involved in getting the work done is a requirement.
