Digital Marketing Specialist - Copper State Credit Union

This role is focused primarily on digital marketing and engagement-focused member campaigns. The work type is estimated to be distributed as 40% social media, 15% administrator for online reviews, 15% member referral marketing, 20% member onboarding programming and 10% administrative duties. Each of these key areas will be consistent with the credit union’s organizational priorities and seamlessly aligned with the credit union’s brand and voice.

As a Digital Marketing Specialist you will:

• Develop and maintain organic social media content on all channels. Content includes, but is not limited to, the creation and deployment of: static posts, events, reels, giveaways, YouTube shorts, stories, ‘live’ events, financial education-related posts and more. Channels include but are not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Actively elicit online reviews from members as well as maintain public replies and follow-up with associated teams to achieve resolutions. Channels include but are not limited to: Google My Business and Yelp.
• Actively promote and maintain the credit union’s referral program across multiple channels including but not limited to: email marketing, survey follow-up, branch collateral, direct mail and online banking messaging. Provide monthly reports on effectiveness. Recommend and implement regular updates to collateral, programming and messaging, as needed. Troubleshoot issues and regularly communicate with staff.
• Consistently evaluate and improve the Credit Union’s email onboarding program with both creative tasks and data management tasks.
• Establish, track and measure metrics along with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which measure impact and effectiveness of the primary areas of this role.
• Consult with the Marketing team to champion social channels as an active component in each marketing campaign.
• Actively audit social media channels to ensure effectiveness and brand alignment.
• Provide input on focus and content for video-based content.

Skills / Requirements

• Requires 4 years of college, or equivalent education and work experience.
• 6 months of related experience, internships and/or training.
• Outstanding communication, content development and marketing skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Basic graphic design or image creation skills preferred i.e. Canva
• Social media experience preferred.
• Experience with Excel preferred.
• Analytical data skills as related to accurately tracking results along with problem-solving through data-focused solutions.
• Requires sound and accurate judgment. Displays a willingness to make decisions in a timely manner, usually within established guidelines. Includes appropriate people in decision-making process and can support and explain reasoning for decisions.
• Knowledge of credit union products and services required.
• Knowledge of PC applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required. Experience with automated core banking system preferred. Experience utilizing smart phone and tablet applications preferred.
• Intermediate mathematical skills required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.)
