Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Digital Media Specialist to support the management and execution of our digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will specialize in updating and managing web content, developing social media strategies, creating visual content, and ensuring that our digital presence drives engagement and conversion. The role requires proficiency in design tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, along with strong knowledge of SEO and social media best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Update and Maintain Website Content: Regularly update website pages, ensuring accurate product information, pricing, images, and content. Implement basic HTML or CMS edits as necessary.
• Social Media Management: Develop, schedule, and post engaging content across multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring alignment with broader marketing initiatives.
• Create and Manage Content Calendar: Design and maintain a digital media content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery across platforms, in coordination with marketing campaigns.
• Visual Content Creation: Use tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to design digital assets for social media, websites, and other marketing channels.
• SEO Optimization: Optimize website and blog content for SEO by incorporating relevant keywords, meta descriptions, and ensuring pages adhere to SEO best practices to increase organic traffic.
• Monitor and Report Performance: Track key performance metrics (engagement, reach, traffic, etc.) for digital campaigns and social media posts using tools like Google Analytics or platform-native analytics. Provide actionable insights for improvement.
• Collaborate with Marketing Team: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging across all digital channels and assist with other marketing materials when needed.
• Stay Updated on Trends: Monitor digital marketing trends and best practices, particularly in social media, SEO, and content creation, and suggest new initiatives to improve performance.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all digital content meets brand guidelines for quality, consistency, and tone across all platforms.
Skills Required:
• Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for content creation.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
• Knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) for scheduling and tracking social posts.
• Experience with Google Analytics and other analytics tools to measure and report on digital performance.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on content clarity and brand consistency.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for web content management is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital media, communications, graphic design, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience managing digital content, web updates, and social media platforms.
• Proven experience in creating digital content and optimizing it for SEO.
• Experience with Google Analytics, social media analytics, and content creation software.
