About the Job
The Senior Digital Product Manager, eCommerce will work closely with the eCommerce development team, digital leads of the Nalco Water and other Industrial businesses, Product Line Marketing team, Industry Marketers, sales field and leadership, Customer Service, and directly with customers to serve the digital solution needs of our internal and/or external customers. This role is responsible for aligning development roadmaps, change management and leadership of platform adoption, and charting the course for continued regional expansion and profitable growth.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with Industrial business leads to identify key business needs and priorities for eCommerce
- Coordinate platform requirements across the Industrial business group
- Align with Ecolab Digital design and development product owner on capability roadmap
- Lead change management effort to increase internal user and customer adoption
- Devise and execute strategies that harness data driven insights, prevailing standards and research, and novel development to drive online sales
- Align business testing and review the user experience of ordering and related order to cash site capabilities
- Manage a team including a site adoption specialist and a customer success associate
- Analyze ordering and site data to inform effectiveness of platform capabilities and marketing strategies
- Report status and direction of platform to sales and marketing leadership
- Create amazing end-to-end user experiences that empower our Field Sales team, effortless enable our customers’ order to cash processes, and generate accretive business revenue
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Degree in marketing management, business, information systems, or similar
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a business-to-business environment in marketing, digital product management and go-to-market execution as well as a proven track record of working closely with business leadership and accountability.
- Demonstrable track record of devising sales-enhancing strategies
- Extensive knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in eCommerce, preferably in a B2B environment
- Strong business acumen, can quickly get the essence of the business and grasp the connectivity among technology, business and customer value.
- Excellent collaboration skills – contributing on cross functional teams, influencing across organizations, experience of working across levels from business leaders and developers.
- Demonstrated experience and success in executing and innovating in the commercial commerce space, spanning customer-facing applications and mobile solutions with cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams across matrix organizations.
- Strong supervision, research, and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to tackle the demand of ever-evolving technological implementations and business requirements with ease
- Preferred familiarity with Agile and Lean processes and techniques to test, learn and build solutions that deliver on commercial value.
