What you'll be doing:
- Work cross-functionally with key leaders at Yamaha to define and iterate vision & roadmap for the Yamaha's owner experience.
- Lead the process to define and prioritize the owner's experience features and functions to improve the digital experience for Yamaha owners leveraging key performance indicators such as adoption, engagement, sales, and customer lifetime value in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Make data-driven decisions and communicate how success is measured and financial impacts of products being delivered.
- Organize, prioritize, and refine business requirements & plan analytics for customer-facing functionality and experience.
- Continually evolve and enhance the digital customer experience (e.g. design, creative, functionality, content, messaging, etc.) to improve product adoption, product usage & engagement, customer lifetime value and other key metrics.
- Participate in the selection of new tools and vendors. Manage external vendors
- including scope definition, contract management and successful project execution including project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Rigorously monitor competitor activities & industry trends to take preemptive and responsive actions as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Decision Making:
- Product strategy & roadmap, vendor management, backlog prioritization.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, project management or similar required. MBA preferred.
- At least 5-7 years of product management experience in customer digital experience leading customer-facing initiatives. Experience in automotive, powersports industry or related is a plus.
- Experience using personalization to improve digital customer experiences.
- Experience with mobile apps, websites, and a variety of digital software packages including content management, analytics, testing and optimization and others.
- Able to make impactful decisions by integrating data analysis, domain expertise, and feedback from internal partners and users.
- Demonstrates a strong curiosity about the technology behind products, coupled with advanced data fluency.
- Proven experience communicating project status updates and long-term strategic plans to diverse audiences; senior leadership, stakeholders, peers, etc.
- Experienced in collaborating across multiple businesses to develop business strategies and manage competing priorities.
- Adept at creative problem-solving, able to develop contingency plans based on continuous feedback.
- Experienced in project planning and progress monitoring.
- Excellent organizational, documentation and communication skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
