We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Dining Services Manager to join The Vista.  The Dining Services Manager will assist in the production of approximately 500 meals per day while maintaining high quality, excellent service practices, and superior hospitallity. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health. 

Competencies:

• Oversees all resident related dining service functions. Display a physical presence at lunch and dinner in all dining areas.
• Evaluates and implements sound cost saving measures. 
• Ensures that all dining services personnel follow established department policies and procedures including appropriate dress code.
• Identify and implement strategies to enhance the dining experience for those we serve.
• Evaluates the Dining Services department's equipment needs and justification for purchase. Maintain proper levels of china, silverware,
  glassware, table linen, napkins, etc. Makes suggestions to the Dining Services Director.
• Interact with Vista residents for their feedback and satisfaction with their dining experience.
• Presents/participates in in-service programs for the dietary department.
• Inspects storage areas twice weekly for proper temperature, cleanliness and order. 
• Assists with the Culinary and Dining Services staff in-service training, including but not limited to: implementing an effective waiter training
  program and providing training to all new employees.

Schedule: 12:30pm-8:30pm, Monday - Friday & Every other weekend.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in food services sanitation (ServSafe) required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (2) years in the food services industry.
