About the Job
The role of the Dining Room Host is to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest. The host monitors the dining room flow, handles guest inquiries and assists with any special request.The Dining Rooms Hosts main objective is ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Display impeccable CORE 4 and second mile service to every guest that comes encounter with CFA Hanover FSU.
Create a warm welcome to guests as they arrive.
Monitor dining room flow, if we are close to full capacity, help direct
guests to seating vacancy.
Understand the usage for the dining room chemicals:
- Sanitize table (red package)
- Chair cleaner (green package)
- Community table (Multi surface cleaner)
Keep dining room floors clean:
- Understand mopping procedure
- Ensure yellow sign is placed down before the start of
mopping
- Ensure mope is rung out very well(dry mopping)
Floor must be swept as the tables are being cleaned.
At Least 1 table touch-in/second mile with every guest (ask to
refresh beverage, additional condiments etc.
Ensure bathroom is stocked (paper towel, tissue paper etc)
Quick wipe down of play place when there are vacancies and prior to
departure
Quick wipe down of table markers and trays, then apply tray liner.
Ensuring every guest is gifted a purell wipe and mint prior to their
departure
Reports to director to see if any deep cleaning can be done M-W
(lower volume days).
Assist in opening and closing the doors for guests
Assist in opening up or closing the dining room area
