Direct Care Associate - ICF Full-time
Salary: $39,305 + 2.50 shift differential for evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Your role as a Direct Care Associate Full-Time
As a Community Services Associate II/Direct Support Professional at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will be crucial in empowering individuals requiring total care. Working within a group home setting, you will provide personalized training and support to enhance the well-being of individuals with complex medical and physical needs. To excel in the role of a Community Services Associate II/Direct Support Professional at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, a candidate should possess a strong foundation in understanding mental retardation, autism, and other developmental disabilities. Demonstrated experience in working with adults with disabilities and exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential. Establishing and nurturing positive relationships with clients, families, employers, and fellow service provider staff is critical.
One year of direct care experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness or experience working in an Intermediate Care Facility, CNA a plus-valid Driver's License.
