Direct Care Professional, entry level NeuroRehab support with career pathways!

FT/PT, all shifts available to meet the needs of the growing program.

Entry level position with opportunities to launch a career in the rapidly growing field of brain injury. No college required, but increased education levels yield higher starting rates.  

Great opportunity for those who are thinking about or training for work in the medical field.

Provide "hands-on" personal care support to individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries and assist with cognitive, physical, emotional and social skill-building to help them become as independent as possible in the community as they learn to manage and improve their level of functioning.

No experience with individuals with brain injury? We will train you in what you need to know. And if you’re interested in growing with New Vitae, there are opportunities to become a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, work in the day habilitation program or even take on supervisory responsibilities as you gain experience.

The ideal candidate is patient, loves to teach and support the learning of others, has interest in the medical field, works well in a team environment and loves the challenge of problem solving/trouble shooting. Most positions require advanced training in administering medications, which New Vitae provides.

Minimum requirements to be considered for the position:

High School Diploma/GED, plus six (6) months paid experience working directly with individuals with disabilities.

Driver's License and Mandatory drug screening & Criminal Background check REQUIRED for all positions.
