Team Select Home Care is looking for a Direct Care Worker in the Greater Philadelphia Area to join our Team Select family. Out caregivers provide one-on-one in-home care to adult clients with varying levels of need. Although we service clients in 10 of Pennsylvania's southeastern counties, we are currently seeking new caregivers to work with clients in Montgomery County. Overnight availability is highly preferred and all staff must be able to work a minimum of two (2) weekend shifts (Fri PM - Sun PM) per month, if needed.
Responsibilities:Team Select Home Care is looking for a Direct Care Worker to join our Team Select family. The Direct Care Worker provides non-medical personal care and assists with activities of daily living, and related services in the home for the sick and the disabled, when no family member can assume the responsibility. The Direct Care Worker will report to the Director of Operation (DOO)/designee.
Responsibilities
- Providing assistance and hygiene care as directed, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities and assisting with measurements, if necessary
- Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, shopping, companionship
- Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing
- Must be on time and be able to make commute
- No call outs, MUST show up to scheduled time
- Hoyer lift experience/ if not we supply training
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8-40 hours per week
