Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus

Position Overview
Our client, a rapidly growing PE-backed company in the DFW metroplex, is seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager to oversee their accounting operations. This position is critical to managing financial processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the company's continued expansion. The Accounting Manager will lead key financial functions, drive process improvements, and work closely with senior leadership. This role requires a full commitment to working on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements while maintaining strong internal controls.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities, aligning financial performance with the company’s growth objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and private equity stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies that drive operational efficiency and profitability.
- Lead financial audits, working with external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor and develop the accounting team to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or senior accounting professional, ideally in a private equity-backed or high-growth company.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing month-end close processes, financial statements, and audits.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop accounting teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
